Frequently Asked Questions About Recitals
You've got questions, and we have answers! If you're participating in any of our upcoming recitals, here's what you need to know:
What should my child wear?
WePlay Music Academy require formal attire for all recitals. We suggest that participants also stick to our brand colors of pink, blue, purple, and white because we will be taking group photos at the end of each session, and it will be nice to have everyone coordinating in color.
What time should my child arrive for the recital?
Participants should arrive at least 15-20 minutes before their session starts to get set up and tuned before their performance. Guests will be let in just before the beginning of the recital. All recitals will start as scheduled.
How many guests can I bring?
Please feel free to invite as many guests as you like. We will be happy to show your family and friends our students' musical talent.
Where is the recital being held?
UCI Winifred Smith Concert Hall
What should my child bring?
All participants (except piano students) are responsible to bring their own instrument.
Please do not forget to bring your music book/music sheet.
Recommendations:
Flash photography is not recommended during the recital as it can be distracting for the students. Children under the age of 3 years old are also not recommended to attend as it can be distracting for performing students and our video recording of the performance.
